§ 32.36 ESTABLISHMENT OF POLICE DEPARTMENT.
   There is hereby created and established a department of the municipal government of the village which shall be known as the Police Department. The Police Department shall consist of the Chief of Police and such other police officers as may be appointed, hired, or otherwise retained from time to time by the Mayor with the advise and consent of the Board of Trustees.
