Should the Village Constable fail to file a complaint against any person who has violated any of the village ordinances, after knowledge of such violation is obtained from any source, or fail to perform any of the other duties enjoined upon him or her by the ordinances of the village, his or her office shall be declared vacant by the Village Board, and another person appointed in his or her stead.
