The Village Clerk shall receive for his or her services such sum as may be allowed by ordinance and, in addition, the following fees, to wit: for recording and superintending the publication of all ordinances, $0.08 for every 100 words; for making out the annual statement of fiscal affairs, $3; for furnishing copy of any paper on file in his or her office, $0.10 for every 100 words; and for attaching his or her certificate and village seal, $1, to be paid by the applicant.
