There shall be elected by the qualified electors of said village six Trustees, who shall hold their office until their successors are elected and qualified at the first meeting of the Board of Trustees after the first election, after the organization of said village, the Trustees elected shall be divided by lot into two classes; those of the first class shall continue in office for one year and those of the second class for two years from the date of the annual election for the municipal year, and annually thereafter there shall be elected three Trustees, who shall hold their office for the term of two years, and until their successors are elected and qualified.
