§ 31.009 CONSERVATORS OF PEACE.
   The President, Trustees, Village Constable, and all police officers and watchpeople of said village shall be conservators of the peace; and as such shall exercise the power conferred on them under the Ill. Rev. Stat. Ch. 24 § 83, as amended.
