The President shall report to the Village Board all violations or neglect, on the part of any village officer, which shall come to his or her knowledge, and when he or she believes the village funds or property are liable to be lost or injured by such violation or neglect, he or she may immediately convene the Village Board for the purpose of taking action in relation to any matter pertaining to the duties of his or her office.
