§ 130.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   JUVENILE. A person who has not yet reached 18 years of age.
   LEGAL GUARDIAN. A person appointed guardian or given custody of a juvenile by a Circuit Court of this state or any other state, but does not include a person appointed guardian or given custody of a minor under the state’s Juvenile Court Act, being 705 ILCS 405/1-1 et seq.
   PARENTS. The lawful father or mother of an unemancipated juvenile, whether by birth or adoption.
   PERSON. Any individual, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company, or organization of any kind.
   PROPERTY. Any real estate including improvements thereof, and personal property, whether tangible or intangible.
