(A) Notwithstanding the provision of § 55.46, the piping from the gas meter of the village gas system through the foundation of the building where gas is to be used shall be rigid pipe of not less than one inch inside diameter.
(B) (1) Copper pipe may be used elsewhere where it is impracticable to use rigid pipe. Only type K copper pipe shall be used. Copper pipe shall be insulated from iron fittings.
(2) Only flare type filling shall be used.
