Sign regulations balance the public and private interests: they promote a safe, well-maintained, vibrant, and attractive community while accommodating the need for signs to inform, direct, identify, advertise, advocate, promote, endorse, and otherwise communicate information. The placement and design of signs must further the land use planning objectives of Wayne and protect neighborhood character and the value of surrounding properties.
