The Housing Commission is authorized to enter into Section 8 contracts with landlords for the purpose of placing eligible participants in the program in the following geographic areas, outside the boundaries of the City: territory encompassed by the City boundaries of the Cities of Westland, Inkster, Garden City, Dearborn Heights, Romulus, Belleville and Ypsilanti, and the Townships of Canton, Van Buren, Huron, Sumpter and Plymouth.
