1472.04 COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS.

The City Engineer or the City Engineer's designee shall examine or cause to be examined every building, structure or portion thereof reported as unsafe or damaged, and if such is found to be a dangerous building as defined in this chapter, the City Engineer shall commence proceedings to cause the alteration, repair or rehabilitation, or the demolition and removal of the building, structure or portion thereof.
