1452.04 MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS OTHER THAN REFRIGERATION CONTRACTORS.
   (a)   No license shall be issued to an applicant for a mechanical contractor's license, other than a refrigeration contractor's license, until he or she has passed the required examination, or until such applicant has a person in his or her regular employ who is actively in charge, who has passed the required examination and who has been qualified by the Mechanical Board of Examiners. The Board shall determine the time and place for such examinations. There shall be at least four members of the Board present at the oral examination of any applicant.

   (b)   Persons making application for a mechanical contractor's license, other than a refrigeration contractor's license, shall be at least eighteen years of age.
