1452.02 ELECTRICIANS AND ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS.
   (a)   Journeymen Electricians. No person shall engage in the occupation or trade of journeyman electrician in the installation, alteration, maintenance or repair of electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus or fixtures for light, heat, power or other purposes in or about buildings or structures in the City, unless such person has first obtained a license from the State of Michigan. All examinations and licensing shall be done by the State of Michigan.
   (b)   Electrical Contractors. No person shall work or operate as an electrical contractor in the installation, alteration, maintenance or repair of electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus or fixtures for light, heat or power in or about buildings or structures in the City, without first having obtained a license from the State of Michigan. All examinations and licensing shall be done by the State of Michigan.
