1068.01 DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY.
   The Police Chief or his or her designee, is hereby authorized and empowered to declare the existence of a snow emergency, when, in his or her judgment, there is imminent danger of widespread or severe damage, injury, or loss of life or property resulting from snow, ice or wind. Snow emergencies may also be called when the National Weather Service is predicting a snowfall of three or more inches for the City. Once a snow emergency is in effect it shall remain in effect until terminated by the Police Chief or his or her designee.
