Whenever a nuisance is found to exist within the City, the Building and Engineering Department, its deputies, agents, or inspectors shall give up to 30 days written notice to the owner or occupant of the property upon which the nuisance exists or upon the person causing or maintaining the nuisance. Additionally, notice shall be posted in a conspicuous location upon the entrance of such premises, such notice demanding that the owner or occupant of the premises put such place in a sanitary and habitable condition.
