The salary of the Councilmen shall be $1200.00 per year each. The salary of the Mayor shall be $1500.00 per year. The salary of the Clerk shall be established by resolution of Council and shall continue in efect until changed by resolution of the Council. The above salaries shall constitute the only salaries or remuneration which may be paid for services performed by members of the Council, the Mayor, and the Clerk for the discharge of any official duty for or on behalf of the City. Upon authorization of the Council, however, reasonable expenses may be allowed when actually incurred on behalf of the City.
