(A) The owner of the building or the holder of the sheriff’s certificate of sale has six days after the order is served to do one of the following:
(1) Comply with the order;
(2) Provide the Council with a reasonable plan and schedule to comply with the order; or
(3) Request a hearing before the City Council to challenge its determination that the property is vacant or unoccupied and hazardous. If the owner or holder of the sheriff’s certificate fails to take one of these actions within the allotted time, the City Council must have the building properly secured.
