Water, sewer, storm sewer, Montrose plant, garbage, and recycling charges shall be billed on one bill as applicable to each account on a monthly basis. All charges for water, sewer, storm sewer, Montrose plant, garbage, and recycling charges shall be due on the 10th of each month. All bills will be considered delinquent after 30 days and subject to a late fee. Further action will be taken on accounts with a delinquency level of 60 days. The title, address, and telephone number shall be clearly visible and easily readable on all bill statements. Bills will be mailed to customers on the 15th of the month following the month of service since water meters are read during the first week of the month following the service period. Bill statements will specify the water consumed and the sewer and Montrose plant usage as well as the flat service fees for storm sewer, garbage, and recycling. Billing will be done in accordance with utility fees adopted annually and listed on the city’s fee schedule.
