Along every development street trees shall be provided, in accordance with the following requirements:
(A) Commercial (B-2, B-3)/ Industrial (I-1) lots shall provide one overstory shade tree per 40 lineal feet of lot frontage. Such trees shall be of species approved by the City Council. Such trees shall be located within the street right-of-way.
(B) Residential (R-1, PUD) developments shall provide one overstory shade tree per 40 lineal feet of street frontage. Such trees shall be of species approved by the City Council at the time of preliminary plat. Such trees shall be located within the street right-of-way.
(C) In any development requiring more than 20 trees, no species selected for planting shall exceed 20% of the overall total of trees being planted.
