The following uses are permitted in the I-1 district.
(A) Any branch of trade or industry employing labor and capital; activities not allowed in commercial districts; activities which do not require steam, diesel or gasoline engines as a prime mover;
(B) Wholesale business and warehousing;
(C) Machine shops and public and private garages;
(D) Public utility and service buildings and gas regulator stations; and
(E) Residences when on the same parcel as the principal use and occupied by an individual employed by the principal use.
