161.01 DEPARTMENT ESTABLISHED.

   (a)   The City Building Department is hereby established.

   (b)   The Department shall have full authority to enforce all laws, statutes and regulations as provided and authorized in the Ohio Revised Code and Ohio Administrative Code pursuant to the certification approved by the Ohio Board of Building Standards. Supervision and enforcement by the Department will be under an agreement with the Board of County Commissioners of Ross County.
