505.16 KEEPING OF ANIMALS.
   (a)   Definition of Kennel. A lot, building, structure, or enclosure or premises whereon or wherein animals are maintained, boarded, bred, kept or cared for, in return for remuneration, or are kept for th epurpose of sale, or are groomed, trained or handled for others.
   (b)   No person shall keep more than five animals (pig, horse, cowl, goat, dog, cat, etc.) or any other animal or animals or any fowl or poultry in any pen, yard, lot, or other enclosure situated within 100 feet of an inhabited dwelling house, other than the house of the owner of such animal(s).
   (c)   The owner or keeper of any such animal(s) shall keep the pen, yard, lot, or other enclosure in a sanitary condition and free from preventable offensive odors.
   (d)   Any person who desires to keep more animals than those allowed under subsection (b) hereof must obtain a kennel license from the City to do so.

   (e)   The cost of a kennel license shall be one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00).
