The City shall have the right to cause the removal of any dead or diseased trees on private property within the City, only by complying with the general nuisance law procedures as outlined in Ohio R.C. Chapter 3767. For purposes of this chapter, prohibitions, as defined in Ohio R.C. 3767.13, shall include the maintenance of any dead or diseased tree on private property within the City, when the tree constitutes a hazard to life and property, or harbors insects or disease which constitutes a potential threat to other trees within the City.
