The Fire Department shall have authority to organize in such manner as its members see fit and for that purpose adopt a constitution and bylaws so long as its organization, constitution and bylaws are in furtherance of and not in conflict with this chapter or the laws of the State. A copy of such constitution and bylaws, and amendments thereto, shall be filed with the Clerk of Council. (Ord. 1961-25. Passed 11-6-61.)
