Whoever constructs, reconstructs, alters, changes or demolishes any exterior feature of any property, area or object in violation of the provisions of this Code shall be charged with failure to comply with the Code. Each offense shall constitute a first degree misdemeanor punishable by a fine of a sum not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and imprisonment not to exceed six months.
(a) The owner of any structure, building, premises or part thereof and any architect, building contractor, agent or other person who commits, participates in, assists in or maintains any violations of this Code may be found guilty of a separate offense.
(b) Nothing herein contained shall preclude the City from taking such other lawful action as is necessary to prevent or remedy any violation.
