(a) It is hereby declared that any violation of the Code constitutes a public nuisance and in addition to any other remedies provided by the Code for enforcement, the City may bring a civil action to enjoin the violation of any provision of the Code or of Chapter 1301.01 et seq.
(b) In the event any person, firm or corporation, whether as owner, lessee, sublessee or occupant attempts to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, improve, remove, convert, demolish, equip, use, occupy, or maintain any one, two or three family dwelling within the jurisdiction of the City of Wauseon or cause or permit the same to be done contrary to or in violation of any of the provisions of the Code or Chapter 1301.01 et seq., the Building Official may cause to be erected a placard upon the premises directing that said persons or entities aforementioned cease and desist until they are in compliance with the provisions of the Code.
