709.01 PERMIT AND LICENSE REQUIRED.

It shall be unlawful for any peddler, solicitor or canvasser as defined in Section 709.02 to engage in such business within the corporate limits of the City without first obtaining a permit and license therefor in compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
