373.13 RIDING BICYCLES OR SKATEBOARD ON SIDEWALK.

   (a)   (1)   No person shall do any of the following acts on the sidewalks within the City which border Fulton Street between Chestnut and Oak Streets:

         A.   Ride a bicycle;

         B.   Ride a skateboard;

         C.   Employ the use of roller blades or roller skates;

         D.   Ride a scooter.

      (2)   Any law enforcement officer who observes a violation of this provision may seize and impound the bicycle, skateboard, roller blades, roller skates or scooter used by the violator. These devises shall be returned upon request to any adult owner or parent or guardian of a juvenile offender.

   (b)   Violation of this provision shall constitute a minor misdemeanor.

   (c)   This provision shall not be applicable to persons with disabilities requiring the use of these devises for purposes of transportation.
