A. The following activities and events shall be exempt from the permit requirements:
1. Events that have been approved by the city to be held on property owned by the city or by any municipal public trust authority;
2. Events to be held on the Jefferson County Fairgrounds property;
3. Events to be held on public school property for the benefit of the public schools;
4. Events held by employers for employees and their families only to be held on the employer's property;
5. Golf tournaments held at a public or private golf course; and
6. Events to be held on property owned by religious organizations for the benefit of the religious organization and its congregation.
B. Events excepted under this section are still subject to compliance with applicable life safety, fire and building codes. (Ord. 05092022-12, 5-9-2022)
