The Charter Review Board shall review and study the existing City Charter for purposes of recommending amendments as the Board believes to be in the best interest of the City. The Board shall prepare and submit a written report to the Board of City Commissioners within ninety (90) days consisting of recommendations in the form of proposed amendments to the Charter for review and consideration by the Board of City Commissioners of possible amendments to submit to the voters. Upon request of the Chairperson, the City Manager may grant an extension of time beyond the ninety (go) day timeframe. Any such changes recommended by the Board to the Board of City Commissioners shall be advisory only and will not be construed in any way as binding. (Ord. 11082021-10, 11-8-2021)
