A. Board Authority: Within the limits of available funds (including annual appropriations made for the purpose by the City), the Library Board may contract for services, books and supplies, utility services and maintenance of the library property; and claims for those purposes and other legitimate purposes necessary for maintenance and operation of the library, approved by the Library Board, shall be presented to the Board of City Commissioners for approval and payment from available funds.
B. Gifts, Grants; Loans Of Materials: The Library Board may contract for, and receive, funds for the use and support of the library and its operation from the United States, the State of Oklahoma, and any other source, in the forms of gifts, grants and in loans of materials. (2007 Code § 1-44)
