A. Board Created: There is hereby created a Library Board for the City (see City Charter section 58). (2007 Code § 1-44)
B. Appointment; Terms: The Library Board shall consist of a minimum of five (5) members with a maximum of nine (9) members, each of whom shall be a resident of the City, and who shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the City Commission. All appointments and confirmations to the Library Board shall be for terms of three (3) years from the expiration of the term of office of the members of said board whose terms have expired.
