A. Extinguishers Required: Every person, firm or corporation, owning or operating a place of business within the City, is hereby required to own, keep and maintain therein, such firefighting equipment (i.e., fire extinguishers) as the Fire Department requires. The equipment shall be inspected regularly by the Fire Department.
B. Maintenance And Recharging; Fee: Maintenance or recharging of such equipment may be done by the Fire Department; provided, that a fee sufficient to cover the cost of said service, shall be paid by the owner to the City. (2007 Code § 7-23)
