9-2-11: PROHIBITED ACTS:
   A.   Interference With Fire Hydrants:
      1.   It shall be unlawful for any person, unless duly authorized, to open, turn on or off, interfere with, attach any pipe or hose to, or connect anything with, any fire hydrant belonging to the City.
      2.   It shall be unlawful for any person to, in any manner, obstruct access to any fire hydrant by placing around or thereon brick, lumber, dirt or other thing.
   B.   Unlawful Service Connection/Theft Of Services:
      1.   It shall be unlawful for any person to connect or attach any kind of pipe, wire or other contrivance to any pipe, line, wire, or other conductor carrying gas, water, electricity, or cablevision and belonging to a public utility (whether publicly or privately owned), in such a manner as to enable that person or any other person to consume or use the gas, water, electricity or cablevision without its passing through the meter or in any other way so as to evade payment therefor.
      2.   It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly take, receive, use, or convert, to such person's own use, or the use of another, any electricity, water, or natural gas which has not been measured, or any telephone or cable television service which has not been authorized.
   C.   Damage Of Utility System: It shall also be unlawful for any person to damage, molest, tamper with, obstruct or destroy any pipe, line, wire, meter or other part of any public utility, including telegraph, telephone and cablevision systems. (Ord. 020916-1, 2-9-2016)
