7-2-5: BACKING:
   A.   The driver of any vehicle shall not back the same unless such movement can be made with reasonable safety and without interfering with other traffic.
   B.   The driver of any vehicle shall not back the same a greater distance than is necessary to permit it to enter the immediately available proper driving lane; no extended backing shall be permitted. (2007 Code § 18-22)
