6-6-3: RUNNING AT LARGE PROHIBITED; CARE OF DOGS:
   A.   Owner Allowing Animal To Run At Large: It shall be unlawful and an offense for the owner of any animal, domestic or wild (including dogs), to permit the same to be, to run at large, or trespass upon the premises of another person, or be unlawfully at large, at any time within the corporate limits of the City.
   B.   Care Of Dogs: It shall be unlawful and an offense for the owner of any dog to:
      1.   Permanently maintain a dog on a leash, rope, chain or similar tether.
      2.   Have less than one hundred (100) square feet of space for each adult dog; provided, that boarding kennels shall be exempt from this provision.
      3.   Fail to provide adequate drainage to prevent surface water from standing in the area of the pen or enclosure where the dog is kept. (Ord. 101413-1, 10-14-2013)
