10-2-2: SCHEDULE OF SEWER FEES AND CHARGES:
   A.   No permit shall be issued nor shall any work requiring a permit begin until the fees hereinafter have been issued to the City and received by the Building Official.
   B.   Nothing in this section or schedule of fees shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding pending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action required or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed, nor shall any just or legal right of remedy or any character be lost, impaired or affected by this section.
   C.   The fees to be paid for permits, and the cash bonds or surety bonds to be collected for projects under the jurisdiction of the City shall be as follows:
Fees For Sanitary Sewer Users:
 
New sewer tap
$500.00, plus the cost of materials
Jet sewer on private property
100.00 minimum
Engineering consultant
At the cost incurred for engineering consultation
 
User Charges For Sewer Use y (see also sections 10-4-2B, 10-4-3B and 10-4A-3 of this title)
 
Metered users
$3.85 per 1,000 gallons; minimum of 2,000 gallons per month
 
   D.   The sewer rate is subject to change per ordinance approved by the City Council. The basic user rate shall be based on water usage as recorded by water meters and/or sewerage meters for wastes having a five-day, twenty degree celsius (20°C) biochemical oxygen demand of two hundred one milligrams per liter (201 mg/L) and a suspended solids concentration of two hundred thirty nine milligrams per liter (239 mg/L). The City reserves the right to add surcharges for discharges containing additional biochemical oxygen demand or suspended solids.
