10-1-1: SUPERINTENDENT OF WATER DEPARTMENT:
There is hereby created the Office of the Superintendent of the Water Department. In all parts of this Code relating to the Water Department, he may be referred to as the “Superintendent”. Said Superintendent shall have charge of the City Water Department and shall be responsible for its operation and maintenance. He shall be subject to the directions of the Public Works Committee of the City Council. He shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council.
