Every physician or surgeon duly admitted to the practice of medicine or surgery in the State of Illinois, whenever he shall treat any person in the City for a wound inflicted by a dangerous or deadly weapon of any kind, shall notify the City Police Department within one hour of the time when he renders such professional service, or is called upon to render the same.
