To the extent required by the Building Official, the permittee shall provide traffic control in accordance with applicable sections of the Illinois Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and applicable guidelines contained in the Illinois Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways. The permittee shall obtain, erect, maintain, and remove all signs, barricades, flagmen and other traffic control devices as may be necessary for the purpose of warning or guiding traffic. Placement and maintenance of all traffic control devices shall be in accordance with the applicable parts of Article 107.14 of the Standard Specifications and the Illinois Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways. The permittee shall be solely responsible for ensuring that all traffic control devices are installed and maintained in accordance with applicable state standards.
