It shall be the responsibility of the owner of all non-residential buildings that have fire alarm systems to install at each main fire alarm control panel location and at each remote fire annunciator panel location, legible placards indicating the locations of all fire protection system devices being monitored by the fire alarm system. Placards shall be of permanent construction and installation, be readily identifiable and not be obstructed or obscured by displays, other signs, interior finish or portions of the fire alarm system control panel equipment. The Fire Chief shall approve location, size and appropriate wording for the placard prior to installation. (Ord. 13-16. Passed 8-22-16.)
