Nothing in this Chapter shall be construed as waiving the Municipality’s defense of governmental immunity to it or its employees or officers in any action brought against the Municipality or such officer or employee. For any suit or claim arising under tort claims law, the indemnity shall be limited the statutory limits applicable to the Municipality as provided therein, and as may be amended.
