723.03  FURNISHING INFORMATION; FEE; LICENSE; REGISTRATION.
   (a)   Each canvasser, peddler and solicitor required to register or obtain a license from the City shall, prior to commencing canvassing, peddling or soliciting (hereinafter described as activity), furnish the Police Department with the following information on forms provided by the City:
      (1)   Name, date of birth and social security number of applicant.
      (2)   Complete permanent and local address of applicant.
      (3)   Name and address of the person, firm, corporation or association for whom the activity will be performed.
      (4)   A description of the nature of the business and the services, goods, wares, foodstuffs, beverages, merchandise or any other property to be sold in sufficient detail to identify the subject matter of the activity in which the applicant will engage.
      (5)   The proposed dates and times of the activity and the routes to be followed in conducting said activity.
      (6)   The make, model, year, color and license plate number of motor vehicles or a detailed description of other conveyances used by the applicant during the period of the activity within the City and the applicant’s driver’s license number and the state of issuance.
   (b)   Any registration made or license issued under this Chapter shall expire on December 31 of the year initially issued and must be renewed for each calendar year thereafter.
   (c)   The application for a license shall be accompanied by the payment of the applicable fee as determined from time to time by Council.  There shall be no fee for a registration made under this Chapter.
