(a) Unless otherwise approved by the Public Works Director, the surface of all sidewalks shall have a transverse slope of between one-fourth inch to one-half inch per foot with the low side nearest to the street pavement.
(b) In all cases where sidewalks cross a driveway, the full width of the sidewalk shall conform to the established grade of the sidewalk adjoining both sides of the driveway and the standard transverse slope of the sidewalk shall be maintained through the driveway, unless permission has been first obtained from the Public Works Director.
