913.06  THICKNESS AND WIDTH OF SIDEWALKS.
   (a)   All sidewalks shall be made of concrete and shall in general conform to Item 608 of the Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specifications.  Sidewalks shall be not less than four inches in thickness over a two-inch aggregate base.  The width shall be a minimum of four feet.
   (b)   Where a sidewalk crosses a driveway, the sidewalk shall be extended through the driveway.  The sidewalk thickness within the driveway area and extending one foot beyond each side of the driveway shall be not less than six inches in thickness over a two-inch aggregate base.  The sidewalk shall be separated from the driveway by an expansion joint.
   (c)   In the repairing of sidewalks, no patching will be allowed except at the discretion of the Public Works Director.
   (d)   All sidewalks over subspaces shall be of reinforced concrete construction or reconstruction only, the plans for which must be approved by the Municipal Engineer.
