(a) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter, or maintains or displays any sign without a permit as required by this chapter, shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for every day such violation, maintenance, or display shall continue, and each day shall constitute a separate offense.
(b) The Municipal Administrator is authorized and has the right to enter on the premises at reasonable times where such signs or advertising devices are maintained or displayed, for the purpose of inspecting the sign.
(c) In the event that any person, firm, corporation, or association is convicted of any violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, the court shall, in addition to any other penalties provided herein, require the offender to remove any such sign or advertising device not erected, constructed, or displayed in conformance with this chapter. Failure to comply with any such order of the court may be treated as a contempt of the court, and appropriate penalties may be imposed by the court.
