Any duly elected or appointed officer of the Municipality shall, before entering upon the duties of his office, take and subscribe to the following oath or affirmation, to be filed and kept in the records of the Clerk of Council.
I, __________________do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of the State of Ohio, and that I will, in all respects, observe the provisions of the Charter and ordinances of the Municipality of Waterville, and I will faithfully, honestly and impartially discharge the duties of the office of_________________ of the Municipality of Waterville, State of Ohio, during my continuance in said office.
