(a) “Bulk items” means furniture, mattresses, appliances and any other household discard except it does not include engines, batteries, parts of automobiles, used oil or building materials.

(b) “Collection unit” means a single-family house, an owner-occupied dwelling unit located in a building that also contains one or more non-residential units or each dwelling unit in a building that contains not more than four condominium units, apartments or townhouses.
(c) “Commercial unit” means all commercial uses, industrial uses, dwelling units located in buildings that contains five or more condominium units, apartments or townhouses, mobile home parks, dwelling units that are not owner-occupied located in buildings that also contain one or more non-residential units whether occupied or vacant and any other location that does not meet the definition of a collection unit as defined in this chapter.

(d) “Garbage” means that portion of “solid wastes” defined as putrescible wastes.
(e) “Recyclables” means any discarded materials which are deemed to be recyclable by the Municipal Administrator. A list of recyclable materials shall be maintained and available for the public.
(f) “Solid wastes” means all putrescible wastes, except sewage, body wastes and yard wastes, including vegetable and animal offal and carcasses of dead animals, together with all nonputrescible wastes.
(g) “Trash” means that portion of solid wastes defined as nonputrescible wastes.
(h) “Yard waste” is as defined by the Ohio Administrative Code.
