The international swimming pool and spa code, 2018 edition, published by the International Code Council, Inc., is hereby adopted as the swimming pool and spa code of the village for providing the minimum standards to provide a reasonable level of safety and protection of health, property, and public welfare by regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, and maintenance or use of pools and spas, and providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions, and terms of such international swimming pool and spa code, 2018 edition, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this article, with the specific revisions otherwise noted in section 8-1J-2
