All territory which may hereafter be annexed to the village shall be classified A-1 district until otherwise classified by amendment as provided herein. In the event owners requesting annexation of their property desire a classification other than A-1 district, a petition shall be submitted for the desired zoning classification simultaneously with the petition for annexation.
